“Let not your heart be troubled; trust in God, also in me Jesus Christ”
John 14:1
Satan and his demonic strongholds are rampant in our world,
cities, and even in our own homes!
Domestic Violence - The single most frequent cause of injury to women – more than automobile accidents, muggings or rape – is Battery. More than 6 million women are battered each year. From broken bones to broken homes, family violence is a tough habit to break. The sad truth is that this evil scene is destined to play over and over, like a broken record, until something or someone intervenes to break the cycle of violence in these homes.
Street Crimes, DRUGS, Robbery, Killings & sex
A chaotic or threatening environment can trigger aggressive and even violent behavior when someone is under the influence of certain drugs. Many drugs trigger and heighten a sense of anxiety and paranoia. Others lower inhibitions and reduce self-control. Some produce blinding compulsive cravings. When a person is under the influence of these drugs, they can easily overreact to perceived threats. The "drug culture" surrounding the use and distribution of illegal drugs is often marked by violence and crime. Many people support their addiction by turning to crime. Cocaine, heroin and marijuana users often become dealers themselves or resort to burglary or prostitution. Huge profits from trafficking drugs do make for high stakes among dealers and organized crime rings. Territorial wars, assaults to collect debts, and armed robberies of drugs or drug money are all common in the world of street drugs.
Suicide - Each year in the U.S., thousands of young people commit suicide. Suicide is the third leading cause of death for 15-to-24-year-olds, and the sixth leading cause of death for 5-to-14-year-olds. Teenagers experience strong feelings of stress, confusion, self-doubt, pressure to succeed, financial uncertainty, and other fears while growing up. In some cases, suicide appears to be the only solution.
Abortion – More than 4,500 abortions occur every day in America. About the same number that died on Sept 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center.
AIDS – By October 1, 2000, more than 711,000 people in the United States had been diagnosed as having AIDS. Of these, 420,000 had already died of AIDS-related complications.
Anger, Depression, Fear & Hopelessness are not spirits from God.
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall Abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by the day, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.” ... Psalm 91:1-6
“For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.” .... Psalm 91:11
