First you must
Admit that you are a sinner and you need God
To begin your relationship with Jesus Christ You must admit you need God to do three things:
1. You need God to forgive you of your sins.
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
(1 John 1:8-9)
2. You need God to receive eternal life.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
(Romans 6:23)
3. You need God to show you His purpose for your life.
"The thief [Satan] does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I [Jesus] have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)
