JUST FOR KIDS

Every year I am asked Why we do not participate in celebrating Halloween. Many tell us, "It is harmless, just a night of fun." Last year (5 years ago) I let our three youngest go with the local Childrens Church Group on a Halloween Outting. I was reassured that it was Christian focused, and made to feel wrong about not allowing my children to join the other Christian children in our neighborhood. My children came home near midnight very tired and the two youngest were very upset and troubled by all of the scary activities they experianced at the different places they stopped at. Once again my conviction from God to not celebrate should have been upheld. when God convicts us of a wrong doing we should Listen and Obey.

Over the years we have discovered the Truth Behind Halloween and the many FUN Halloween activities that have turned into horror stories. The Truth is that there are many demon worshippers in our Country, some could live next door to you. (Yes, I have lived next door to a member of the satanic cult. This clean cut couple was an Attorney and an Elementary School Teacher.) The Truth is that more children are kidnapped during the week of Halloween than any other time. Satanic groups use children to sacrifice to their demons. So please be extra careful in where your children go during that week. Some children have been abducted in front of their homes. The Truth is that the Demonic attacks on our children are even stronger today than in any other previous generation. Stories I have read of the evil things that have happened to the children during Halloween Night make me cry.

In one book on the Truth about Halloween, a story was told about a teacher who had her students make little ghost dolls at school. The teacher (witch) then placed curses on the ghost dolls the night before sending them home. Each year the school hallways are filled with witches, ghosts and skeletons. The Teachers have workpages full of Witches, skeletons and ghosts. Now Halloween decorations are becoming as popular as Christmas decortations. Remember you MUST be careful not to mention God's name at school especially during the Christmas season. But it is perfectly acceptable to mention Demons and witches during October at school. When they took religion out of our schools *(seperation of Church and State) they failed to remember that there is a Demonic religion also. Therefore the practice of all this Halloween stuff should have been taken out of schools the same time they took out God! I have often wished someone would sue over the Halloween practice in Schools.

As a Christian parent I was conficted that the practice of Halloween was not what God wanted for my family. However the school participation of this Holiday made it very difficult on us. When my children are asked "Why", they try to use it as an opportunity to witness about Jesus and God. The hardest part of not participating is when the Church Groups have parties and festivals on this night. Then the children feel that it must be OK, but the Bible is clear that to even dabble in the occult is WRONG.
