Good Evening Mauri
Thank you so much for your very kind and encouraging words about my
Halloween page. It was my first Holiday page that I did. And it was a
difficult one. But that was when I learned how to listen to the Lords
directions and ideas for the pages.
I just went for a visit to your page. Thanks for the wonderful words with
my link. You have also done a creative and fun page that the kids will
love. Filled with information and the graphics help make it easy to read.
Great Job.
I also admire your stand on Halloween. Many Christians do not agree with us
but now that they know the History they are accountable to the Lord for
their own actions.
I have added a link to your page on my Halloween Links page:
http://www.annieshomepage.com/halloweenlinks.html
OH I have quite a few holiday pages and you can find them on my Annie's
Holiday Page http://www.annieshomepage.com/holiday.html They are all from
a Christian Perspective.
I saw your "UNICEF" link. Actually I had one too last year but had to take
it down. When I was little we did collect money in one though. But the
person emailed me and challenged me to check out their link and find out
where the money really goes and also who really runs UNICEF. So I did
decide after researching it that I would remove it. And I have redecorated
the pages and added some new ones this year.
Well I have rambled on. Come back and visit. I am always adding new pages.
When you make or update a page that you feel would be appropriate for my
pages as a link please just let me know.
I have only been on the computer for a little over a year but it was as if I
had been in the wilderness my whole life and now I am in the promised land.
I can see how the Lord is using so much of my past experience to create the
Webpages. I have not taken any computer classes. I am self taught.
I guess I have always wanted to write a book. But the Lord will bring the
right people to my pages if that is His plan and of course if He tarries. It
is really only by the Grace of God that I can even use my hands to create
the pages. (you can read my testimony page or my chronic pain/illness page
to learn more about that).
Well thanks again. The time is so short. Keep sharing your faith with
others until His return.
Have a day tomorrow full of BLESSINGS and JOY!
"Love in Christ"
Annie

Dear Just For Kids Magazine Staff:
Sorry I would not like your magazine because as you say it is a christian magazine it is not. Any magazine that has halloween in it is not Christain. The Lord said that we are not suspose to celebrate Halloween. Halloween is not a day for kids to go out and have fun and get Vandy. This Day is a day for all demonds and all of satins "friends" our enemies to come out. Halloween is kind of a Christmas for Satin. So as long as this is not a Christain magazine I will not subscribe to it.

Dear R
Praise God! You are a very smart girl to stand up and let others know that Halloween is not to be celebrated because it is a day that people celebrate the prince of darkness. And although many people think it is just another fun day to get candy and dress up like cute or demonic characters ... the true is that many Satan worshipers use this day to do many evil things to innocent people, even children.
If you read our October Issue you will see that the story is about our family talking at the dinner table on Halloween night of 1994. We discuss that the reason we do not celebrate Halloween is because we to celebrate means to Honor and give Glory to someone, and we do not give Glory to satan and his demons. Then the story goes on to tell how the holiday began with Druids, and the Irish people bringing the celebration to American during the potatoe famine. We also give other ideas of way to spend the evening, like watching Carman on TBN with friends. He is planning an awesome night of turning satan's night to the glory of God. The craft for October is Witness Bracelets that can be given to friends to share the story of Jesus through colored beads.
Just For Kids Magazine is a Christian Magazine by Christian children, but we also want the magazine to go to kids who do not know Jesus, or if they do know Jesus, we want to tell them that we should not Celebrate Halloween. That is why the story starts out with a border of a little girl dressed as a witch. This attracks many kids and parents to read our story and then discover the history of Halloween. We receive many letters thanking us for telling them the truth, and sometimes people make copies to take to their Church and pastors to let them know not to celebrate this holiday anymore. So I hope you reconsider and join our Just For Kids Magazine members. We would be honored to have you as one of our members!

Dear Just For Kids Magazine Staff:
I accidentally found your site and applaud you for your stand! I was so glad to see a detailed version of what Halloween means and how it got started. I'm ashamed to say all this time I knew it was the devil's holiday but didn't exactly know all the meaning. I look forward to hearing from you. I am sending this link to my pastor.

Dear Just For Kids Staff:
I am glad you take so much of your own time to help children enjoy themselves!
Yet you take the fun out of what Halloween has BECOME.
It is no longer a day for which demons and devils are worshipped and celebrated,
and I haven't heard of a human sacrifice for centuries!
All in all Halloween only exists today as a chance to make the year more precious to our children.
Some adults still like the fact that we can get away with dressing up - out of the ordinary -
and go to work or school, and smile and say hi to our neighbors when we see them.
I also heard that - All Hallos Eve is when the demons and spirits roam the earth, and to disguise our human
bodies
we dress up in a silly disguise/costume. You don't have to dress as evil creatures, some people dress as simple as
cats and tomatoes!
The Great Pumpkin is also a silly story that I have always enjoyed with Halloween.
I am not quite sure why you make such a fuss over the celebration...
If you have a bushel of apples why do you search for the bad apples,
can't you just find the good in the bunch and help point out others
the good parts too?
I have never really liked negative people, but I think I will give you a
second chance, in hopes that you will open your mind to a greater
world than the small box you have built around you and your family.
Sincerely,
R
