I found this recipe in a flyer in our newspaper from "KRAFT food & family. The picture is from that flyer also.
8 sq. HONEY MAID Honey Grahams
2 1/2 cups Royal Frosting
or prepared white frosting
Oreo Cookies for roof
and candies for decorations
*Cut graham crackers into the right shapes and sizes, using a serrated knife and a gentle sawing motion. A straight-edge knife is more likely to break the crackers.
*Using 1 cracker for floor and 4 for walls, assemble house, sealing all seams with frosting. To form roof support, cut 1 cracker in half diagonally and use use frosting to attach cut-sides to opposite ends of house. To complete roof, use frosting to attach 2 more crackers, sealing all edges. Allow house to dry completely.
*Decorate as desired using remaining frosting, cookies, crackers and candies.
(holds house together better than store-bought frosting)
*Beat 3 Tbsp. meringue powder, 1/2 tsp. cream of tarter and 6 Tbsp., warm water with electric hand mixer at high speed until blended. Slowly add 2 cups powdered sugar on low speed until blended; beat on high speed about 5 min. until stiff peaks form.
*Cover icing at all times to prevent hardening. To store several hours or overnight, place plastic wrap directly on surface of icing; refrigerate. Beat with mixer until stiff before using. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.

Both years we set 2 tables because of all the family that eats Christmas Dinner at our house. The table for the adults was set with a green tablecloth and new white dinnerware edged in red with a green tree in the center. Mom got a gold flatware set for her Christmas present this year. The glasses were edged in gold. We had green, red and gold linen napkins in Gold Napkin Rings.
The kids table was set with a beautiful blue tablecloth with snowmen. Our new dinnerware were snowmen too. We even had linen snowmen napkins.
